My wife brought home an iPad from the high school where she works this weekend because the school is trying to assess the iPad's usefulness as an educational tool.  My son spent the most time with it and he likes listening to music and watching videos.

There have been some interesting discussions lately about storage tiering   And just because 3PAR beat most everybody else to the punch this week with our AO announcement , I think it's important to keep things in perspective – storage tiering does not solve everybody's problems

There are many things Larry Ellison can do .  If he wanted to run for public office, he certainly wouldn't have to worry about campaign funding.  I mean, if he can buy a bad NBA basketball team , he can certainly afford a series of popularity ads showing his over flowing empathy. But if he still wants to be the CEO of the largest software company in the world – it's not clear that getting into the hardware business will help him do it

3P got all excited this week when Joe Tucci from EMC made his public plea to Data Domain's employees in the San Jose Mercury News because he wanted to tell them something too.  He didn't have the budget to spend on a full page in the paper, but he has other ways to get his message across – like this Rap Blog.
